Listowel Minor Hockey has been as busy as it could be, with its different teams and age ranges its been a spectacle for the players, coaching staff and parents.
Listowel Minor Hockey is kicking off for the first time near the end of the month with Hockey Days down at the Steve Kerr.
Running on January 28th and 29th, games will be taking place all weekend long showcasing a variety of skill.
On top of hockey action, a vendor show, Early ON programming and activiites from the North Perth Library will also be included.
Listowel Minor Hockey Vice President Anne Love says it’s their first crack at something such as this and are looking forward to it.
“Local minor hockey associations around us that have done this, so we thought it was time for Listowel to give this a try to really get the community back into the arena and have a good look at this facility that we have” said Love
Love adds this season has been great to see and have hockey return without any disruptions
“It’s nice to be back to hockey as we knew it before COVID. We’re really thankful for the parents and players patience and coaches who volunteer their time it’s just something that’s immeasurable for our community.”
Admission for Hockey Days is completely free to attend as Love says, this is a great way to get out and see your neighbours.
“Come see some of your neighbours, some who maybe deliver your newspaper or bag your groceries. Come see what they do. I think it’s a great way for the community to come together”
