Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology, better known as SWIFT is underway on a project to bring a stronger internet connection to areas in Howick, Fordwich and Wroxeter.
Wightman is working within the communities to install the needed cables and infrastructure to bring high speed connectivity to area.
It’s expected this project will finish on July 15th this year.
In response to the pandemic and the need for a more reliable source for connection, SWIFT put forward the broadband expansion project to better serve small, rural and under served communities across Southwestern Ontario.
