A 37 year old is facing charges after an early morning foot chase on Friday.
Hanover Police with the help of witnesses located the suspect who was hiding under a deck of a home in the 400 block of 12th Street.
Police arrested the Fergus man after a chase hich ended in a violent struggle and a taser deployment.
One officer sustained minor injuries as well as the suspect but no medical attention was needed.
The accused was given a list of charges including Mischief Under $5000, Resisting Arrest, Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest, Impaired Driving and Trespass at Night.
The accused remains in police custody.
