Non for profit organizations have seen their struggles over the course of the pandemic, especially when it comes to support funding.
A large number of these groups haven’t been able to benefit from emergency relief programs offered by the federal and provincial governments.
A survey conducted from May 17th-June 4th by the Ontario Nonprofit Network received almost 3000 responses asking non profits to share details about where they currently stand and how government relief has supported them.
The majority of non profits were supported with Canada’s Emergency Wage Subsidy and Emergency Community Support Fund but only 23 percent of survey respondents accessed the programs.
