The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund continued to supply public buildings with life-saving devices in 2022, donating 16 defibrillators.
The non-profit organization launched in 2009 and since then, they’ve donated 152 defibrillators, with six lives directly being saved as a result.
Each defibrillator honours an emergency service worker or military member who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The donations have been spread across the area, including in 2021 when a defibrillator was given to It Takes a Village donated in honour of Nurse Matilda Ethel Green
