North Perth Westfield has now been fundraising for over a year towards upgrading their playground equipment and everyone is getting involved, from businesses to fundraising events and even students.
Emmett Neves put his efforts forward to help sell candy and drinks at a booth for his brothers ball game to help the playground fundraising, bringing in $93 to give back.
With the success, Emmett is challenging other students to find ways to give back for the playground.
In one year, $115,652.15 has been raised for the playground upgrades.
The committee has continued to apply for grants and encourage everyone to help out donate if they can.
