What started as a passion project for two students in the Upper Grand District School Board’s Elementary Remote Program has turned into an amazing opportunity.

Madelynn and Adhrith are extremely high achieves is how their third grade teacher, Sandra Horton describes the pair.

They had just finished a previous independent project when their teacher suggested that the class take on another. This is how the pair co-wrote a book together.

A parent in the class, who is a publisher, found out about what the two were created and offered to publish the book.

The two are in the midst of drawing up a contract so that their book can get an ISBN and become registered with the Library & Archives in Canada.
