Huron Perth Public Health says around 40 per cent of local student immunization records are incomplete which can lead to suspension.

Public health says the records across elementary and secondary schools have been checked with 39 per cent of students either missing records or their immunizations have not been reported to public health.

Students can face suspensions under regulations with public health urging students to get their vaccinations up to date with letter being sent to parents with incomplete records.

Parents are requested to respond by March 4th to avoid suspension which could occur on May 23rd.
