A busy Sunday morning for the North Perth Fire Department who was called to a house fire in Elma.
Fire crews responded to the blaze at 3:20am and found a structure fully involved upon arrival.
The structure was ruled as a complete loss with no injuries being reported.
The fire department says it was working smoke alarms which alerted the home owner and saved his life.
The North Perth Fire Department has sent their thanks to the Perth East and Grey Township fire departments for their support.
