Wellington North Fire Crews kept busy this morning responding to a structure fire outside Mount Forest.
Crews arrived just after 7:30am to a blaze near Wellington Road 6 and Sideroad 4 with the fire in a large building which manufactures wood pallets.
Fire crews faced difficult conditions given the weather and high heat.
The building has been ruled as a total loss and not considered suspicious.
There is no damage estimate just yet with 7 stations attending the scene including Wellington North, Minto and Mapleton.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
