Stratford’s Barry James Payne with his band String Bone will be preforming on Saturday at the St Marys Pyramid Recreation Centre in a series of fundraising efforts by the Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron.
The fundraising is in support of the Ukraine refugee campaign.
A show held in Goderich raised around $2500 in support of displaced Ukrainians as a result of the Russian invasion.
Since the campaign first began with the multicultural association, nearly $47,000 has been raised to purchase food, clothing and other necessities for Ukrainian refugee families who are expected to arrive into Huron and Perth by the end of this month.
The show in St Marys will start at 4pm.
