Construction for the 2nd phase of Stratford’s Britannia Street Affordable Housing project is expected to ramp up and start on Monday.
The 2nd phase of the project will now include the construction of a residential building with 27 one and two bedroom apartments adjacent to the 35 unit building built in 2019.
The second phase is estimated to cost $9.7 million and was awarded to Nith Valley Construction LTD.
Construction on the apartments are limited to 7am-5pm Monday-Friday as to not disturb neighbouring residents on weekends or in the evenings.
The City of Stratford will keep the public informed on the progress of the project and impacts of those living in the area.
