Fee reductions will be seen at Stratford’s Anne Hathaway Day Care Centre for the year.
The city run day care will drop fees to keep in line with the federal government’s Early Learning and Child Care Program.
In December new guidelines were set mandating a reduction in fees be increased to 52.75 per cent as of January 1st.
Updated fees now for toddlers will see $27.80 per day, preschool for $23.79 a day and $17.33 per day for the nursery.
The changes are not expected to impact Stratford’s budget as the fee reduction is offset by funding from the nationwide program.
