Anyone in Stratford who uses taxis could expect a slight rate increase.
The city’s four taxi companies have proposed a series of rate increases to help cover the rising costs of fuel and other expenses.
This includes Aunt Gail’s Taxi, City Cabs, Radio Cab and Stratford Taxi.
The new rates proposed from $11.50 to $14 for a trip within the city for one or two passengers with $12.50 to $15 for city trips with three or more.
A senior rate of $11 to $12.50 is also proposed.
The public is open to provide comments at a police service board meeting planned May 18th at 4:30pm.
