Stratford Symphony Orchestra Set for 18th Season

 

The Stratford Symphony Orchestra has announced the concert line up for its 18th season which starts October 1st.

This season will be the first fully in live person concert experience in several years.

Principal Conductor and Music Director, William Rowson will lead the season with 6 concerts consisting of world class soloists, classic and new works as well as the New Year’s Celtic shows.

Rowson says Stratford is well known in Canada for its vibrant arts and culture scene and the Stratford Symphony Orchestra sets a high bar in the unique artistic community.

The season kicks off October 1st with Israeli-Canadian cellist, Daniel Hass who will preform Dvorak’s Cello Concerto.

November 12, 2022: Salute to Ludwig van Beethoven with Sofia Mycyk, piano
January 1, 2023: New Year’s in Vienna featuring vocalists Catherine and Mark Gardner
January 28, 2023: Celtic Celebration with the Clefs of Moher

March 4, 2023: Brahms & Dvorak highlighting the talents of Sarah Pratt, violin

May 27, 2023: The Organ Symphony and More with soloists Laurel Swinden, flute; Jonathan Rowsell, tuba; and Owen Spicer, organ
