Stratford has now rolled out new hybrid electric buses.
As of Monday, Stratford Transit is now operating two new 40 foot hybrid electric buses into service.
The buses will appear similar to the current city transit buses in operation however these new ones are more fuel efficient.
The roll out of hybrid electric buses follows the city’s commitment or reducing its environmental footprint and contributing toward local, provincial and national efforts to produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
