Stratford Police arrested a 17-year-old of Stratford after they were stopped on Downie Street in Stratford on Friday night just after 9:30 pm.

The expired permit led police to find the vehicle was not insured, and a black hand gun was found concealed in the car.

The driver was removed and placed under arrest.

The weapon was later determined to be a BB gun, and a subsequent search found the driver in possession of nearly $20,000 in counterfeit $100 bills.

All were seized by police.

The teenager was charged with multiple charges including carrying a concealed weapon, possession for a dangerous purpose and possession of counterfeit money.

They were later released with a March 23rd date to answer to the charges.
