Stratford Police Preparing for Anti-Lockdown Rally

Over 200 say they will attend over Facebook

Despite no permit, its expected No More Lockdowns Canada will still be Lower Queens Park on Sunday in Stratford for a rally.

In response Stratford police will also be on site with cameras to watch and record the unapproved rally.

As of Friday, 228 have said over the Facebook event they plan to attend while another 534 have said they are interested in going. MPP Randy Hillier is expected to be in attendance alongside MP Derek Sloan.

Stratford police say they will avoid arresting organizers and protesters unless they feel its necessary.

Police, Huron-Perth Public Health and the City of Stratford released a joint statement earlier this week advising against any public gatherings as set from the provinces guidelines.
