Stratford Police looking for Public’s Help after Sailing Club Thefts

The Police investing theft of trailer as well as theft of a kayak and a break and enter to a buiklding on the property of the Sailing Club. Both occured during the month of March. It is not known if all are related or not.

The Stratford Police is looking for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a theft of a utility trailer from the St. Marys Sailing Club, located at Wildwood Conservation Area in Perth South.

On the morning of April 3rd, the Police were contacted regarding the theft of the trailer. Video surveillance was obtained from the sailing club indicating the theft occured on March 30th around 8pm.

The male suspect seen in the video can be described as average height, medium build, wearing a hooded winter coat with light coloured sweater underneath with the hood up, carring a Reebok backpack.

The suspect had a medium sized black short-haired dog with him.

The Police is also investigating the theft of a kayak, as well as a break and enter to a building on the property of the Sailing Club. Both occured during the month of March.

It is not known exactly when these incidents occured. It is also uknown whether the multiple incidents are related.
