The Stratford Police are looking to find the identity and vehicle involved in a hit and run collision that resulted in a downed hydro pole.
Police were called to the scene around 1 am on Saturday on Ontario Street in the area of Queen Street in Stratford.
The vehicle had driven off the roadway, struck and knocked down the pole. The vehicle drove away and entered a nearby parking lot, stopping briefly and then driving away.
The vehicle is described as a small Toyota Matrix with damage to the front driver’s side corner. Debris left on-scene confirmed its model.
A license plate and identity of the driver were not able to be obtained from the footage.
