Stratford Police investigate report of Traffic Stop with Police Impersonator

Similar incident in Huron County is not known if related

 

On Saturday, April 17th Stratford Police received a report of an unknown individual who appeared to be impersonating a police officer.

It occurred shortly before 9:30pm on Perth Line 20 in Perth South, when a male driving what appeared to be a police cruiser with flashing red and blue lights stopped the complainant and questioned them about contravening the Ontario Stay at Home Order which had been put into place the pervious day.

The Police have been made aware of a similar incident that occurred on April 22nd in Huron County and it is unknown at this time if these 2 incidents are related.

The subject in the Stratford incident identified himself as “Brady Kale”. He is described as a white male, late 20’s to early 30’s.

He is approximately 6’0″ tall, with an average build.

He has short hair, which was covered by a plain black baseball cap, dirty blond facial hair and a large nose.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, with no patches on the shirt and black pants.

A silver plastic badge was pinned to the right side of his chest and he was wearing a utility belt, with what appeared to be a handgun inside a holster.

The vehicle involved is described as a 2017-2021 black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows. It had matte black rims, no markings, no push bar, light son the roof and small circular lights on the dash.
