The Stratford Police were called to a serious collision this morning around 7:30 am at the intersection of Road 122 & Line 29 in Perth South.
Officers arrived to find a 2019 Ford Escape resting on its side against a tree.
The driver who had been trapped inside had been assisted out with the help of a witness on the scene.
Due to their serious injuries, the driver was air lifted to Victoria Hospital in London for treatment.
The area was closed for the Reconstructionist Team to conduct its investigation.
It has revealed to this point the vehicle had been traveling southbound on Road 122 when it was struck by a 2020 Honda Civic westbound on Line 29.
The intersection is controlled by a north/south stop sign on Road 122.
The driver of the Civic did not suffer any injuries and the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
