Stratford Police Arrest 2 in Stolen E-Bike Investigation, One Still Outstanding

Stratford police have laid charges following a break and enter at Ross’ Bike Works in the city.

Police responded to an activated alarm at the shop on November 28th at around 10:30pm and found the front door was forcibly enter with two Liv Electric Bikes taken with a value listed over $10,000 for the bikes.

Video Surveillance found two men, one a 60 year old and the 2nd a 37 year old both from Stratford.

The following day police located the 37 year old who was arrested without incident.

The man has been charged with Theft Over $5000 and Break & Enter.

On the same day, police received a report of one of the stolen bikes being located at a business on Erie Street and at 3am on November 30th, police saw a 45 year old woman riding the stolen E-Bike on Norfolk street who was arrested.

The 45 year old woman was charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

The stolen bikes have since been returned and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of the 60 year old man.
