The Rotary-Hospice of Stratford-Perth will see over $378,000 in top up funding.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the funding will help support running eight existing palliative care beds.
Since the hospice opened its doors in 2019, it has helped over 280 patients receive the care they need at no cost to them.
The funding is part of Ontario’s $147.4 million investment over the next three years for communities across the province to ensure proper care of comfort and dignified palliative care close to home for loved ones.
