Stratford-Perth Pride has announced the rainbow crosswalk in Stratford will be replaced this month.
With the city remaining busy heading into the fall and the planned Trans Pride Week in November, the crosswalk will be installed to ensure Stratford remains as a welcoming community.
While officials say paint could be damaged over the winter, this is a test to see the crosswalk design and a switch to road paint and see how it will hold up over the winter.
Powerhouse Painting has donated their time towards installing the crosswalk.
