The International Council of Museums say up 13 percent of the worlds museums may have to close and the impact can be felt at home.
On Monday, the Stratford-Perth museum was reopened but under strict guidelines. At a time 30 people, staff included are allowed inside the museum at one time.
Officials for the Stratford-Perth museum said they truly were thankful to be given what grants they were eligible for and to make what cuts they could and are hoping with the doors open, can maintain regular visitors with the rules in place.
