Earlier this week the Stratford-Perth Humane Society held their virtual beer tasting fundraiser.
The event dubbed “St Paw-Tricks Day” helped support the humane society working in partnership with local breweries and other businesses.
The event sold out, a full 180 tickets raising over $6000 for the care of vulnerable animals in the community. Many who took part also joined in the photo contest which were posted to the humane societies twitter page.
In the coming months the humane society will receive 450 adult cats and another 500 kittens who will need to be spayed and neutered.
The money raised will help offset the costs.
