Perth-Wellington Member of Parliament John Nater shared word of Stratford resident Jean Aitcheson being named to the Order of Canada.
Jean, a retired nurse, is the volunteer coordinator of the Stratford Mission Depot.
Nater says that Jean truly embodies the motto of the Order of “they desire a better country”.
He congratulated her and thanked her for all she does.
Also receiving the nod in the group this year was NHL player Sidney Crosby and Comedic Actor Eugene Levy.
