The City of Stratford still plans on going forward with the development of the Cooper Site following a court decision.
The Ontario Superior Court ruled unanimously late last month to dismiss an appeal of a decision of the Ontario Land Tribunal to uphold the city’s original offer of market value for the land in 2009.
Stratford has been awarded costs of $20,000.
Stratford CAO Joan Thomson says they are pleased with the decision of the site appeal.
