The Huron-Perth Student Transportation Service is making it easier for families of Stratford District Secondary and St Michael’s Catholic Secondary for riding the bus to school.
Starting in September, secondary students who live more than 3.2 kilometers from their school will be offered transportation to and from school with several bus stops added to accommodate students who will fit into the new criteria.
Previously secondary school students had to be more than 4.8km from their school to be eligible for the bus.
Kindergarten to grade 8 students will remain at a 1.6km requirement to ride the bus to and from school.
