The Optimist Club of Stratford has made a generous donation to the Stratford General Hospital.
$40,000 was donated to the hospital to help pay for a mat/child incubator.
With the donation a story shared of a baby boy born over 30 years ago needing assistance and was placed in the neonatal unit being placed in a unit which was donated by the Stratford Optimist Club.
The donation helped Bill Scott join the club from the plaque on the unit. The child born, Ben Scott is now has a PhD as a university medical researcher.
