The Stratford Festival has finally been given the theatre going public a date in which they will be able to start enjoying live theatre again, July 10th.
Each performance will be able to hold up to 100 spectators, under the 25 percent capacity restriction in their current outdoor venue.
The outdoor setting actually is reminiscent to the Festival’s first season in a similar setting back in 1953.
The rehearsals for the upcoming shows began in early June. They will move indoors soon.
There are 6 plays scheduled for the 2021 season including Romeo & Juliet shorted to R&J, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Three Tall Woman, The Rez Sisters, Serving Elizabeth and I Am William.
Tickets go on sale for Members on July 6th. The general public gets their chance to buy tickets as of July 12th.
