In an effort to help restaurants as patio season gets closer, Stratford council will reconsider the fees which are set by the city for the installation of pedestrian boardwalks.
The boardwalks will allow downtown restaurants to have sidewalk patios and have outdoor dining for the summer.
Previously restaurant owners would pay a flat fee and $196 per month to have an outdoor patio on sidewalks when the restaurant would otherwise not have a patio or allow them to extend out.
Council will include a reconsideration at their next council meeting on May 25th.
