Stratford Council Cuts Happy Hours Outdoors

You’ll have less time to enjoy an adult beverage in downtown Stratford following a decision by council.

At Monday’s council session members voted to cut back on the hours you can have a drink with your food at outdoor venues.

It’s called the El Fresco project and back in August council voted to allow people to have alcohol with food at 25 tables in market square and 15 tables on Tom Patterson Island.

From Sunday to Thursday from 4-8 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm.

Now, last call is at 7 pm.

The new hours are now in effect and will end on Halloween.
