Heading into an unknown tourism season, Stratford bed and breakfasts won’t have to pay for their 2021 licenses and council decided to waive fees for next year.
The decision to waive all costs associated with obtaining a license to operate is in hopes to keep support for businesses continuing to struggle throughout the pandemic. Despite having no cost, operators will still need to have a bed and breakfast license to operate, application forms have already been sent out.
Stratford council had previously provided full refunds on the cost of licenses for the 2020 year back in June.
