Perth County OPP say a stop sign has been removed at a Line 39, Perth East address.
On May 3rd at around 1:39pm, OPP investigated the case of mischief of the removed stop sign at the address.
The stop sign has since been replaced.
Theft and mischief to road signs is a serious matter, especially for those not familiar with the roads they’re traveling on.
Interim Detachment Commander David Sinko says these activities jeopardize the safety of everyone on the road and will not be tolerated.
