Huron County OPP have charged a Mississauga resident following a crash on August 2nd.
OPP was dispatched to an address on Laurier Line in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh at 5:48pm when someone reported to police a vehicle had hit the front steps of a rural residence with the driver still inside the vehicle.
Officers arrived and while speaking with the driver determined she had been impaired. Further investigation also found the vehicle was stolen from Peel Region.
As a result a 26 year old has been charged with Impaired Operation, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused will appear in Goderich court on September 11th.
