State of Emergency Ended in Mapleton

Mayor Davidson says to keep following guidelines as restrictions begin to ease

Since March 16th, 2020 the Township of Mapleton has been under a State of Emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mayor Gregg Davidson issued a statement Monday of the end of the local emergency as the vaccination efforts locally continue to rise.

The municipal office will be open to the public with safety precautions still remaining in place to keep staff and public safe.

Mayor Davidson writing in a release thanking residents for their patience and kindness throughout the pandemic.

Davidson adding we are not yet out of the pandemic and still encourages everyone to follow guidelines to keep everyone safe and healthy.
