The Starter Company Plus program, administered by Huron County has announced its graduates for the starter company program.
The program provides business training, mentoring and grant opportunities up to $5,000 to eligible participants.
The money can be used to start, expand or buy a small business. The 2021 Fall Program saw the highest participation levels in its history with 10 participants.
Four of them were successful in obtaining Starter Company Plus Funding, which totaled $15,000.
The businesses receiving funding were Changing Gears Eco-conscious, health and safety travel kits, Sole Purpose Essential Foot Care to purchase an autoclave, To the Table for the Purchase of a Commercial Fridge and Weber Appliance Repair toward gas fitting training and certification.
