St Mary’s has once again honoured residents with the Strong as Stone awards.
During a meeting earlier this week, council recognized 8 residents for their selfless deeds as part of the program which allows people to nominate others whose volunteer acts benefit the community.
Mayor Al Strathdee says the program is a testament to the incredible spirit of the community and selflessness of those who continually uplift and inspire others.
Recipients this year include Bruce and Nancy White, Sydney Touzel, Anna Doupe, Nathan Brown, Julie Shackleton and Marco and Louise D’Angelo.
