The St Marys Fire Department has continued their training efforts who took part in low angle rope rescue last week.
The training took place off a steep embankment in an old quarry.
A firefighter was sent down the embankment with harnesses and a rope line to haul up a 175 pound mannequin.
Fire Chief Richard Anderson says the department takes part in this type of rescue practice at least twice a year.
The training had put into practice of a man who suffered a head injury and had fallen down the embankment in the quarry.
