St Marys is adding in new stop signs in the area as part of the towns three phase plan to slow down traffic in several intersections.
Stop signs have been added on Brock Street at the intersections of Jones Street, Elizabeth Street and Rogers Avenue.
Police will also be in increased presence to ensure drivers are following the laws at the intersections.
The extra signs are a way to help boost efforts in St Marys to be more pedestrian friendly and address an increase in traffic.
