Speed Enforcement Pilot Progamme to Start Soon

Wellington County will soon be implementing its one year Automated Speed Enforcement Pilot Programme starting in 2025.

A list cameras will be setup across the county in designated school and Community Safety Zones to curb speeding, address driving behavior and increase safety.

Signage will be going up 90 days prior to the activation of these cameras to keep residents and commuters informed.

Among these locations will include in Minto on Wellington Road 123 at the intersection of Henry Street to the intersection to York Street.

In Mapleton, the camera will be found on Wellington Road 11 at the intersection of Andrews Drive to the intersection of Spring Street.
