Wellington County announced today that they are accepting short-term employment placements through their program entitled SPACES.
The program offers meaningful employment opportunities to Ontario Works recipients while at the same time assisting non-profile and public sector organizations in improving health and wellbeing of the community.
The program provides an employment incentive of $14.35 per hour plus mandatory employment related costs to a maximum of $4000 per participant.
Placements are for a minimum of 150 hours in total for a duration of up to 16 weeks.
