Ontario is easing its restrictions for visitors at long term care homes.
As of this morning, the number of designated caregivers per resident will increase from two to four with only two people being able to visit at a time.
Residents who have received their booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to return to social day trips.
Restrictions are also set to lifted later this month with general visits from those five years and older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine will be able to return to visit on February 21st.
