The Skeletons of Vivian Line in Stratford, an annual fundraising event for Operation Smile Canada has returned.
Every October in the city with the goal to create smiles, share laughs while also fundraising.
The idea all came 10 years ago when three skeleton decorations showed up at the front door of Melissa McKerlie’s home as a surprise for her six year old son and what started out as skeleton posing decorations quickly grew into different displays and fundraising.
McKerlie says exactly what to expect over the next 13 days.
“The skeletons having so much fun on our front yard, the displays will change somedays everyday depending on the weather on weekends they’ll be up for 2 days at a time so people don’t miss out on anything. We’ll have some larger displays this year” McKerlie.
Celebrating its 10th year, the goal for fundraising has been set for $100,000 for children to receive comprehensive clef care.
The skeleton displays can be found on Vivian Line near Romeo Street in Stratford.
