Maryborough Public School in Moorefield shared word of today being their Shop with a Cop Day in support of the local food bank.
Grade 6 students from the school, the OPP and Mapleton Fire and Rescue worked together on the event which saw all students either ride in fire trucks or police cars to the Drayton Freshmart.
They all then filled shopping carts to a maximum of $190 per cart and delivered all of the purchased food to the local food bank.
