Search Warrants Lead to Seizure of $145,000 Worth of Drugs

$145,000 in drugs seized, $30,000 in cash also taken

On March 26th around 9:30am, Wellington County OPP, Perth and Huron Community Street Crime Units, West Region Emergency Response and uniform officers executed a search warrant at an address on Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township.

The same day, Guelph Police executed a search warrant at a residence related to the investigation.

Officers seized quantities of cocaine, heroin, morphine, psilocybin, drug paraphernalia worth over $145,000 and $30,000 in cash was seized.

A 50 year old from Puslinch faces a slew of charges

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Morphine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – Psilocybin
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – Heroin

A 35 year old from Guelph has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine.

Both will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
