A search warrant in North Huron has dug up illegal drugs exceeding $4600.
On December 21st, a search warrant was executed at a home on Alfred Street in Wingham as a result of a drug trafficking investigation.
As a result police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and magic mushrooms.
Other items taken included a digital scale, packaging material and cell phones.
The value of the drugs was $2103 with $2500 in other seized property.
A 25 year old has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and later remanded into custody with a future court date in Goderich.
