A search warrant has resulted in the seizure of $85,000 worth of drugs in Wellington County.
On February 19th at around 4:45pm, OPP conducted a stop on a vehicle on 5th Line in Guelph-Eramosa which stemmed from an extensive criminal investigation.
The stop ended with one person being arrested and suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and other offense related property.
The following day, OPP executed a search warrant on Argyll Street in Fergus with MDMA and other property being taken.
The estimated value of the drugs was estimated at $85,000 and $4000 in other property.
A 34 year old man of Fergus has been charged with 3 counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The accused will appear in Guelph court in March.
